Poshtë, mbrapa, lart apo përpara? Çështja hulumtohet përmes peizazheve postkoloniale që ose janë ndryshuar me shpejtësi nga transformimet agresive, ose që përfaqësojnë arena reflektimi për përvojën e dhunës politike. Frymëzuar nga një video e artistes kolumbiane Leyla Cardenas, e cila paraqet stratigrafi nga një mur dheu i përplasur në periferi të Bogotës, si një metaforë për shumëdrejtimshmërinë e përkohshme, seria po pret dy biseda të ndryshme video midis artistëve: artistit pakistanez Mudassir Sheikh dhe kolektivit Huniti Goldox. (Artistja jordaneze dhe artistja gjermane Eliza Goldox), me temën e kohës së ujit, dhe artistët libanezë Gregory Buchakjian dhe Valérie Cachard, dhe Lamia Joreige, me temën e kohës së peizazhit.\nSeptember 4 — 18\nZETA Contemporary Art Center\nAnchored around the concept of ‘time depth’, borrowed from modern archaeology, the series explores the question of directionality in time, whither? Downwards, backwards, upwards or forward? The question is explored through postcolonial landscapes that have either been rapidly changed by aggressive transformations, or that stand for arenas of reflection for the experience of political violence. Inspired by a video by Colombian artist Leyla Cardenas, featuring stratigraphy from a rammed earth wall in the outskirts of Bogota, as a metaphor for temporal multidirectionality, the series is hosting two different video conversations between artists: Pakistani artist Mudassir Sheikh, and collective Huniti Goldox (Jordanian artist and German artist Eliza Goldox), on the theme of water-time, and Lebanese artists Gregory Buchakjian and Valérie Cachard, and Lamia Joreige, on the theme of landscape-time.\n
